VI
Oh, dear. Well, it appears that I've encountered an unforseen problem: very shortly, if not already, I will run out of titles for my entries. I guess this is the most regular I've been about posting, and I appear to be finding it accordingly difficult to continue making entry titles; heck, the last one wasn't even a word.
But this is much ado about nothing. Work started at 9 today, and work is exactly what I did. I spent the whole day cleaning lab benches (aka wooden counters), scrubbing away a year's worth of accumulated graphite. Each bench has about a 6 by 4 foot surface, and theres 6 in each lab. I scrubbed through 6 or 8 labs today (we'll say six because that seems to be the trend), and by the end, which ended up being around 5 hours of work, I realized that I experienced a number of "firsts": It was the first time I've used more than a whole spray bottle of Formula 409 in one sitting, the first time I've broken a sweat from doing a single task inside an air-conditioned setting, and the first time I've scrubbed until I bled. No need to be overly worried about that last one, everything was properly disinfected. After that, nothing really happened (thankfully), short of a few errands I had to run. Apparently tomorrow I'll be fixing and/or replacing all the broken chairs in a lecture hall, so we'll see how that goes. Oh, lunch happened after 3 hours of cleaning; merely McD's, nothing special in that respect, but during the break, I did do more searching for parking. It looks like I'll be parking somewhere behind that area, and if I feel extra wary, I'll end up closer to Schlotzsky's and IHOP, since there seems to be more cars amongst which to hide in that area. Maybe I'll leave early tomorrow and drive around. That was pretty much it for today, no game of ultimate to follow (but there will be tomorrow). If you must know, dinner was rice, mutton, cauliflower, potatoes, and rasam...equally as satisfying as last night.
I think that's all; chair maintanance and ultimate await me tomorrow, so now I sleep to journey toward that end.
